Kolkata: Not only Particularly pertaining to their image at the public level Indian Politicians are also concerned about their online image that has made the government agencies request all the social networking sites to remove the online contents portraying a bad image of the leaders. Reckoning thePre Screening content that has not been taken into consideration by the government , post screening law enforcement have been active in india.Any content that potrays a wrongful image about a leader online post screening they approach the Internet Service provider to remove all the material that seems to be offensiveabout the poiticians.Kapil Sibbal idea of having a pre screeening contents fueled for a contoversy that left the people running thier mind with questions about the relaibility of the information given to them by google and other netwroking sites. A recent report published by google on its website between July and December was about the request from the Indian Law Enforcement act to rmeove the unwanted content about the politicians .There were around 282 request that had been received from different agencies by the internet which continued to flow in for another six months. A single agency even asked Google to remove 236 communities and profiles from social networking site Orkut as they were significant of a local politician. The Google report also revealed that in 2009, they complied with 77% of the requests. But in the last half of 2010, they agreed to remove only 22% as the company felt that content in most cases requested did not violate the community standards or local laws.
