BJP protests petrol price hike in capital
NEW DELHI: Protesting the Rs.5-hike in petrol price, over 300 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers blocked traffic and held sit-in demonstrations in the capital Monday morning, throwing traffic movement out of gear.

NEW DELHI: Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Thursday morning with the minimum temperature settling a notch below average at 26.1 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast rains later in the day.

"The skies will remain cloudy with the possibility of rain and thundershowers," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 32 degrees. Humidity was recorded at a high of 95 percent.

The capital recorded 6.3 mm of rainfall from Wednesday 8.30 a.m. to Thursday 8.30 a.m. 

On Wednesday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 32.8 and 25.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
